Next Joint Operation: 30 August 2025
Task Force Phalanx is a long-running Arma 3 community focused on immersive, infantry-based operations. We strike a balance between realism, immersion, and fun — like a great action movie — without ranks, roleplay, mandatory attendance or training.
Our main ops run Saturdays 19:30 CET / 18:30 UTC and occasionally run mid week persistent campaigns like Liberation or Antistasi. Our mod list is rotated every 6–8 weeks to keep things fresh and varied. Toxicity isn’t tolerated — we value respect, teamwork, and shared enjoyment above all.
We also host monthly Joint Operations with other units: large-scale, co-op PvE missions for up to 100 players. If that sounds like your thing, hop on comms — your next deployment awaits.

Is there an age requirement?
Yes and no. While we don’t have a strict age requirement, we expect mature, respectful behavior from all members. As a result most of our players are between 25-50 years old.
Do I need previous Arma 3 or milsim experience to join?
Not at all. We welcome both new and experienced players. As long as you’re willing to learn and be a team player, you’ll fit in just fine. We do not enforce mandatory training, but do offer a number of voluntary programs to help you improve.
Are your ops mandatory?
Nope. Most of us have jobs, families, and lives. We’d love to see you regularly, but you show up when you can - no pressure. That said, there is an expectation for newcomers to make a concerted effort to join as regularly as possible in order to integrate with our style of play.
What time are your operations?
Main ops run Saturday 19:30 CET / 18:30 UTC.
Joint ops run on the last Saturday of each month.
What kind of gameplay can I expect?
We keep things grounded with a semi-milsim style that leans heavily into infantry combat, immersive scenarios, and variety. While we use realistic tactics and communication, we don’t bother with ranks or roleplay — we're here to play, not pretend to be generals.
The focus is on fun first. Missions are challenging and tactical, but never punishing or overly complicated. Every op is custom-built to draw you in, with intense firefights and dynamic moments that'll stick with you long after the debrief.
Do you use mods?
Hell yes! That's half of what Arma is about! We use a curated modlist that changes every 6–8 weeks to keep things fresh. Installation is easy through the Arma 3 Launcher.
Our core list consists of ACE3, ACRE2, CBA, DUI - Squad Radar, Enhanced Movement, Gruppe Adler Trenches, JSRS Soundmods & Lambs AI.
What platforms do you use for communication?
We use TeamSpeak for voice comms during operations and Discord for general communication and updates.
How do Joint Operations work? Can my unit join?
We host monthly co-op PvE Joint Ops with up to 100 players. If your unit is interested in joining, get in touch — we’re always looking to collaborate with like-minded groups. Don't have a unit? Hit us up and we'll make room for you either with us, or one of the other attending units!
