AN/PRC-117F
The PRC-117F is also a VHF radio but offers greater transmission range and power compared to the PRC-152, with an effective line-of-sight (LOS) range of up to 20 km at 20 watts when dismounted. Like the PRC-152, its performance is affected by terrain and weather conditions. However, the PRC-117F is significantly heavier and takes up more space in a pack.
It can be connected to a GSA or mounted in a vehicle rack. While its core functions are nearly identical to the PRC-152 for Arma 3 use, the button layout differs slightly.

Open the radio interface via ACE Self-Interaction
Ensure the Operating Mode Selector is set to PT (plain-text)
Select the correct channel using the PRE Rocker Switch
Adjust the volume using the Volume Rocker Switch
[Optional] Set the desired ear output (left or right) via ACE Self-Interaction or a keybind
Perform a radio check to confirm the radio is functioning correctly
Press Escape to close the radio interface
